    Default How do I increase ship movement with units on them

    I got it to work for Calvary but I can't with infantry

    Ship movement points are influenced by the movement points of the units loaded. Which means that the lowest movement points will be the modifier for the ship.
    Movement modifiers for unit classes are set in the descr_campaign_db.xml file (opens with notepad). Example:

    <siege_movement_points_modifier float="1.5"/> <!-- movement points modifier for siege units -->

    The same is available for cavalry and infantry

    I know what your talking about I change it and nothing happens, here's mine

    <infantry_movement_points_modifier float="1000.00"/> <!-- movement points modifier for infantry units -->
    notice I changed it to 1000

    Maybe you can't go that high?

    On another note: infantry is usually the basic unit when it comes to movement. Siege is slower and cavalry is faster.

    Please remember, it is only a modifier, the actual movement points are in descr_characters.
