Do rhomphaia/falx have a bonus vs infantry?
I am Iberia, my armies are mostly Heavy Scutarii. I've consistently wiped out the Romans and Carthage will very few losses in most battles, when the odds seem about even, by stretching my lines thin and encircling the enemies with infantry.
The same tactics do not work against Thrace, my units suffer 2:1 losses to them in a straight infantry slugfest, before the inevitable routing happens. Their armies consist heavily of falxmen and thoriktai (sp). What units and tactics should I develop to quell the Thracians?

Romphias and Falxes get an AP bonus so they do very well against armoured opponents. Your Heavy Scutarii, which do well against most infantry, will be at a disadvantage. Ranged units will tend to do well against falxmen because they lack shields. Spearmen and cavalry is probably a good way to go. Spearmen will hold the line longer than swordsmen (due to their higher defense stats) while the cavalry do the damage.

<3 cavalry charges.
Yeah, archers are brilliant against Thrace, 3 units is a good number.
