In my No-interference-with-the-AI-factions pseudo-campaign as Parthia, I watched the AI slug it out and discovered this insane campaign AI behaviour:

Check out the minimal stack armies spread out all over the desert!

No, I just defended as Parthia and wanted to see, which other faction would win. Spain was the big surprise! They ended up conquering all of Italy. The Scipii pushed back Egypt and took over the Nile valley. The Bruttii came back late and resettled in Greece.

Sorry, I took the screenshot and didn't keep the savegame. Spain took Italy, and Greece defended itself, at one point even made to Northern Italy with its Thracian ally protecting its Northern flank from the Scythians, but then the Bruttii came back strong and wiped Greece off the continent. They survived on Crete.

? thats what it would look like if it was a screen of turn 20 of a hotseat with Ringsting playing as the spanish, and me leading scythia, while Ispanico downstairs is slugging it out with an anonymous, and some thracian player thats so desperate that he pays me a big ass tribute not to crush him.

darn ringy sure did pown with those spanish back in the day.
