Currently starts a Nationalist China campaign, and the year is winter of 1941. I notice that the game would automatically upgrade allies' expendition force to your current level, which is bad to me since that means the force of Communist China would be same level as my troops once I start a civil war. Another odd thing is that Soviet send their force to me as expedition force, yet I am not even an ally of Soviet at all. Not sure the reason but I feel Soviet simply want me to upgrade their poor equiped force...

Use their forces to your advantage but make sure they all get encircled and destroyed after a certain point.

Well, the problem is supply, which cannot go beyond once troops number hit certain point. It is an handicap since if I use expedition force I must reduce my own force in that area, any troop lost would cause disaster for my operation.

Funny enough Soviet send an armour divison to me, which has no tank gun (the status if tank gun is NO).

Well, my main complain is that I have to upgrade all their equipment, which are all in very old status. It cause quite a trouble for me because my IC is nothing great at all. They also eat up all my supply which I cannot supply my own troops and cause whole schedule delay.

Not to mention the worst part is I cannot return Soviet's troops to Soviet, because I am not an ally to them. It is actually very odd that Soviet gave me so many poor-equiped troops at once (around 10 divisions) for unknown reason.

Except the only way is sending them to Japan, which I cannot guarantee my own transport would not get sink half way, each cost me 3 months and 5 IC.

Damned, those damned Jap knows my situation and purposely not sending anyone to defend Korea.

Can't you deselct (or de-prioritize) them for upgrades? I thought there was a "star" icon (or something similar) in the unit interface that allows you to do this.
