    Default No Sound on dvl

Everything was working just fine yesterday but when i start dvl up today i noticed that the sound was gone. I can still hear the music but there are no unit speeches, warhorns, effect sounds, or character sounds at all. The same thing happened on vanilla. SO, i uninstalled my entire medieval total war, reinstalled it, and then reinstalled dvl 6 and 6.2 and BBR2.4 and 2.45 and the norse overhaul mod in that order. I start up dvl and i still have the same problem, however on vanilla, the sound has been fixed. I go to my dvl sound folder and erase the sfx and effect .dat/.dat file and before that i had done the trouble shooting advice that is posted on the first page of the dvl 6.2 bug report. So, I start up dvl but it crashes. I start it up again with no crash this time but still with the same issue. Can anyone plz help?

i fixed it, i guess admin can delete this post. i opened dvl after each installation of 6, 6.2, bbr, and the overhaul mod. no more sound issues.

    Two issues which I notice:

    1. The newest content of the Norse mod is included in BB 2.4 and newer. That might screw up something. Soon, I will get back on that mod saddle and ride on.

    2. As a quick fix: there is an icon which says "search thread" just above "#1 ". That is a very easy and quick way to find your sollution

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.
