Merged Game?

Hi there,
I seem to recall reading somewhere that NTW will somehow merge with ETW but I can't find that reference anywhere. Anyone have any info? It would be really cool if you could start at 1700 and just progress through the napoleanic era as well.

The problem is, nobody from CA has been quoted saying the games will integrate. You would think they'd be pushing that now that they're trying to line up presales. I'd say it's safer to assume there is no integration until you hear otherwise.

NTW was supposed to be the expansion to ETW. That was where the merging was supposed to take place.

They could merge\fix empires now, but they don`t want to. So Empires stays unfinished and those who bought it, wasted their money.

They wanted to include features that they couldn't put in an expansion (if not, nice excuse).
