Default A rather nasty, but welcome surprise.

So, I'm guessing this garrison is new to 5.9.1. If it isn't then I have no idea how it's not been triggered before. It's set my planned campaign back a good few years though... Oh well, there's plenty of rebels that need killing in the meantime.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Considering how often I play this campaign I'm going to kick myself in the head if it's an old script.

This is my nasty work in Ethnic Traits 2. Garrison script of when attempt to invade Camulodunum.

    Some tips:
    - This code spawn 2 full stacks outside settlement in Britain. Other one also as nasty as the one you see. I think those who once play older version before the introduction of indy celts would able to guess that where another stack is.

    - Britain is not only place where nasty garrison script like this one would work. It has 4 other places which I would left for you all to guess.

Was intended to be secret? I feel kind of bad mentioning it now.
I remember seeing old AARs with the garrison scripts. Looked good. Makes what would be an easy +5k income land-grab a bit of a challenge. Now if the orange hoard would just attack Thrace instead of me...

I know what all the extended traits garrisons are . Quite easy to find out and edit too, if you don't want the suprise...

Nah, that'd make things too predictable!
Now that I know they were intended to be found for yourself I won't be mentioning any others I find. Anyway, much easier just to have no advice at all.

Oh noes, you brought back the killer British stacks... Why so cruel, Suppanut.

Jk, thats a good idea, I found Britain was way too easy to take over as an untouchable economic booster in Germanic campaigns...

Just out of interest would it be possible for a Governor to gain a trait that would cause a stack/units to appear?

By trait directly, I would say no. But if we put an ancillary into equation, the Boudica would be emerge by very easy piece of cake by just detect "Catus Decianus" retinue which will appear when governors have specific trait or with other specific condition.

    That would be really great

I was just thinking it would be perhaps nice to have some rebellions that are a bit above average rebels.

Something to keep you on your feet, also would be more historically correct. Think how many times spain/gual rebelled against Rome.

So you dammed better keep some good troops behind in those areas other than town watch

    That's a really interesting idea.

Some rebellions are in the game, like you described. There's one in Sicily, one or two in Italy, and one in Judea, IIRC.

The one in Judah made me laugh, crushed the Zelots with Cleruch fury! (which was on its way up to seleucia, that conquest had to wait...)
