Making little but enjoyable things to be payed a lot of cash it's quiet a wrong politic.People who will buy it will complain that 100$(60$ more than basic Napoleon)are too much for the additional contents,and people who didn't bought it will complain that the game as it is isn't enough.And there you get a lot of angry fans(who soon become ex-fans,which makes them not to buy the series anymore).
I'd rather put the elite regiments in the basic game and see a lot of happy fans.Many gamers don't look that much to the AI if they can command The Braves of the 18th.

its $30 more than normal NTW

im not sure of the US$ price of emporers edition

actually in Europe NTW it's going to be sold at 30€...

I honestly dont understand why Australia is so more expensive than everyone else

maybe CA are finance experts and are predicting the aussie dollar to fall

Blah, games are always expensive here. I would call $100 surprisingly cheap for a collector's edition... $120-$130 is normal for these things at launch in most stores.

They are rarely worth it. XD

I'm kind of curious what they mean by "field manual" though...a mini-tactics handguide?

We get all the good stuff, but man do we pay for it! I like it! At least I can say I've got something Americans don't! HA

You can only buy special editions like this in retail and only pre-order. Same ETW's collecters edition. But that was $140 here in Australia, this is only $100.

You guys might get the good stuff, but you don't have a left 4 dead 2 worth playing
