If real stressed after counseling drug, alcohol, and family dysfunction during the day....sometimes I play while blitzed... amazingly I usually do well since I'm extra cautious....I mean come on...I know I'm souzed....

Hilarious, drug counseling...the job that drives you to drink . Me, I'll put away a few now and again. There's something about beer and video games... I'm really getting too old to party like I used to back in college, and besides. dealing with a 5 year old boy (my son) while wasted is annoying as hell.

what I like to do is get really S@#$%@ed! then start a meaningless campaign and take everything I have (crusade or not!) and just totally sack and pillage the middle east! and leave `em all F#@$ed up! for when the mongols and timurids come

I don't like to drink while playing these kinds of games. Otherwise I'll make all kinds of stupid mistakes and forget about things. Now first person shooters... that's a different story. Especially L4D because you pretty much have to drink to tolerate your teammates in that game.

The only time i've ever drunk properly while playing SS was a difficult French campaign. I was ok for the first 4-6 cans, fought off a few invasions by the Brits, Aragon and Genoa, then had a few more... I remember losing Paris, then Rheims. Then its a blank, and when I woke up in the morning i'd saved over my pre-sloshed game and I had 1 province left, which was Dublin, being beseiged by the Irish, and all I had left was 3 priests, a family member and half a unit of spear militia. Totally ruined my frigging game and I really don't remember how I did it

Come on people, give the AI a fighting chance. Increase your blood-alcohol level by at least .02 before the start of every battle (except for those under age). Poor AI needs all the help it can get.
