lol, are you serious? I suppose looking at the manual just isn't the cool thing to do among kids nowadays. I still don't use it all that much in campaign, though it's a fun trainer for your ASSassins and it can help neutralize an enemy. Sabotage their main recruitment centers to create unrest and eliminate their training of their most elites.
Heheheh, what have you been doing all this time??![]()
Nick sinds 1985, he's like 1 or 1.5 years younger then me makes him like what 24/25 years old? and u call him a kid just because he didnt know that assassins could sabotage buildings etc etc? LOL
anyway your last instructions about what they could do ,was much more mature then your kid sentence
lol, are you serious? I suppose looking at the manual just isn't the cool thing to do among kids nowadays. = Unmature.
though it's a fun trainer for your ASSassins and it can help neutralize an enemy. Sabotage their main recruitment centers to create unrest and eliminate their training of their most elites.= was a normal response and mature.
HAHA well... I only figured out what merchants on M2 were used for last month after having the game since release. You're not alone in this kinda thing x)
I like pie.
Amazing how one can miss something that is obvious to others. I never thought to export my peasants, or slingers now, to increase population out in the sticks.
Nor that spies are wonderful plaque carriers.....
Imagine the size of the manual if they included all the "tricks of the trade"....
You can kill people with assassins too!
But actually, since the people it would be worthwhile to kill are all so damn hard, sabotaging buildings are a good way to get their skill up before even trying to knock out the general of that army camped out in your territory. On that topic, does anyone know if knocking out temples could create extra unrest since having the symbol of the Gods falling down is generally a bad sign.
I figured as much since the same buildings are always there again next turn. Does anyone know if it hurts morale if buildings keep collapsing and stuff every turn if you're waiting to attack?
One way to spice up a campaign is to send a number of spies and assassins against a recently conquered settlement of one of your enemies.
The spies will reduce the happiness levels and the assassins can destroy numerous happiness buildings. In the past I've managed to get the same settlement to rebel three or even four times. After that many though there tends to not be enough population to cause any unrest so it's time to move on......

The AI tends to put repairing at a top priority, so it will always repair buildings as long as there is enough money. I sabotaged Epeiros repeatedly and after awhile they stopped repairing because they didn't have the money.
Hmm... early game bankrupting, and a great way to make some pro assassins. Can assassins totally destroy buildings? The most I've ever seen, even a +5 Assassin do is 95% to a shrine.
Yes, they can completely destroy a building, but it is hard unless you play on the lower difficulties or you have a high ranked assassin.
You can destroy it to 100% damage, but it'll still be repairable. Can you actually remove a building? I don't think I've done it before ...
It's funny to sabotage an enemy's barracks over and over though, to keep their recruitment paralyzed.
I didNever used it much though, not very useful imo.
End of an era
Far more effective to send plague ridden spies to your enemies territory, especially if they have three or four cities in close proximity. You can devastate your enemy economically and militarily with this ''trick.'' I all but wiped Harad from a forth age campaign by simply rotating five spies.
Even worth losing a single ship as well - I've just got plague in Genoa so it's time for a spy and a single bireme to go and visit North Africa - currently the dregs of Carthage are fighting for their existence against Iberia and Ptolemy - so a plague on all 3 of them then!
