The special forces edition is intended to fleece the casual user that CA seems intent to focus on. Isn't that the focus of the "new" CA -- graphic eye candy and a easy to kill AI that the casual users can stomp on?

Thankfully we still have a strong MTW2 and RTW2 modding community. These games are going to be the only games with true replay value.

How horrible of a company to want to make extra money for extra things that people are willing to pay for, what sort of businessmen would do that (everyone...)

NOTE: Extreme sarcasm, I could care less, or in fact I like that they have a special edition...

all units are essential in a faction,grenadiers,infantry line,light infantry,guards,cuiraisser,lanciers,carabiniers,chasseur etc.

Exactly, especially since some people are saying that regular edition customers get to choose half of the units anyways, I honestly do not see what the problems are. How this makes them "dishonorable" is beyond me.

But it is nonessential things. If I was to buy a new car, I can buy a car with a spoiler or without, only difference is the one with the spoiler is fancier and costs more...but the car does not function better because I have it.
