Icon3 Creating a custom unit USING UPDATED PFM request

I was wondering if someone could make a tutorial, or update a previous tutorial, on how to create a custom unit using the update Pack File Manager, the one without the integrated db editor. All the tutorials on how to do it (including the stickied tutorial ) use the old version, and I can't figure out how to do it with the standalone DBEditor.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
