How to decrease the chances for assassination to succeed ?
Hi all,
I would like to diminish the chances for an assassin to kill because right now in the mod i am playing the chances are way too high IMO. I have seen that there are values pertaining to the assassins in the descr_campaign_db.xml but i don't know which ones to change although some of the values have obvious significations.
Can someone point me out what to change to get something smoother that the following ?

<assassinate_attack_modifier float="0.8"/>
<assassinate_defence_modifier float="0.8"/>
<assassinate_public_modifier float="0.25"/>
<assassinate_personal_modifier float="0.25"/>
<assassinate_counter_spy_modifier float="1.0"/>
<assassinate_agent_modifier float="1.25"/>
<assassinate_own_region_modifier float="0.75"/>
<assassinate_assassinate_attr_modifier float="0.18"/>
<assassinate_chance_min int="10"/>
<assassinate_chance_max int="95"/>

i'm not much used to this part of modding, but from what i can see this is what you're looking for
<assassinate_base_chance float="33"/>
the "33" is the modifier, meaning that's the chances, so 33 means 33% of chance (or 1/3)
by increasing the number, the chances will increase (or diminish if you lower it)
just try it
