UI i so ugly, please change it !!!
UI in ETW is great, but in NTW is realy ugly, do something better !!!

I agree, it looks a little childish. And the unit cards themselves look like a step in the wrong direction. Maybe it's just the picture quality, but they look exceptionally undetailed.

It may well be another place holder?

I imagine the standardised unit cards may be due to the new uniform system? Mix n' match parts, game automatically generates a new unit card.

They are most probaly beta cards, if you take a look at the earlier unit cards for Empire they were awful.

I like it, but would probably prefer a royal dark red.

Those are no doubt placeholders, I wouldn't expect even CA to sell their game with unit pics like that

Speaking of UI, anyone miss the old city list where you can see which settlement is building/recruiting in a glance? The town and building lists in ETW were klunky, uninformative and feel bland and unpolished. Thamis said they'd try to improve it, but now he's gone and the UI is still the same... I really hope they've improved it in NTW.

It does look a little weird. But it's only early days.
Btw, where did you get the BETA?

Great. We are still limited to commanding 20 units in the battle map. I have yet to see CA making any effort to improve the gameplay in NTW.

NTW will most probably be called ETW:NTW when it is realeased.. It's like bandaid on the carcass that is ETW

With a more constructive comment, I would like to say: "The new UI ain't that bad? However, how hard can it be for professional programmers and designers to come up with something better? Probably really hard, atleast for CA"
