Yes, why? Because i'm a mindless drone that believes when CA says it fixed it and napoleon will be better.

Why not, just because they stuffed up one game, doesn't mean the rest will be stuffed up. I hate useless threads like this, people who have a misrable life and only have time to complain in great forums like this one. Good for you and anyone with you, so your not buying a game, you don't have to make a whole thread for it.will you be purchasing NTW, i for one am not..![]()

I won't. At lest not right away. I feel i got conned with Empire and CA doesn't even have the decency to patch it enough to make it playable or fix the BAI. (i still get a weird bug that doesn't let me play the game properly) Plus they lied and false advertised with Empire (there's still no multiplayer campaign, either). Who can say they aren't doing exactly the same thing with Napoleon?

I will be buying NTW, but I may wait a while after release for CA to fix all of its problems.

I will buy it on release
I will but I won't be pre-ordering this time. I will wait til a patch or 2 and see what people on the forums say about it.

I'll buy it, but will wait a few weeks before I do. The only reason I'd buy it straight at release is if The Creative Assembly puts some interesting stuff into a special edition. (a making of DVD, an extended manual with details about the units/buildings, historical short stories about the Generals of those days, etc...) not a plastic map folded twenty times.
gonna buy ETW instead of this

I voted yes but only after careful thought and when I deem the game worth the price. No release day purchase for me this time. CA ruined that ritual with ETW.![]()
I voted no, but if people like it and it looks to be a vast improvement over Empire... Then yes, I will buy it.
Certainly will, it's on pre-order.
I have had zillions of hours of fun with the whole series as a whole(right from STW including great mods like EB for RTW). At times ETW, and MTWII, pissed me right off with the bugs. But value for money per hour of play, I have probably spent 0.1p per hour of play on their games, no other games hold my interest, they are the only real reason I have owned PC's over the last 9yrs?
I bought RTW's Barbarian expansion, installed it, looked at it, then uninstalled(suspecting in advance I wouldn't like it). At that point after playing mods, the units in the expansion were horrible.
My point is, whilst I understand the gamers worry, that if we don't shout loud enough about the faults with CA's/Sega's games, we will get fed the same grief again, I am concerned it might go to far, and harm the future production. I would rather take the risk, that a game may have faults, than put the series at risk, regarding it's future production, both by boycotting games, or going on Amazon or Metacritic, and giving it the worst review I can.
I do not understand people who hang around on these forums, and don't want to support the series. I put my money where my mouth is. I am not a Fanboy, but I am a Fan. I have being quite vocal, quite often regarding faults with the series. I try not to rude, or sarcastic to CA, even when angry and feel like CA/publisher have wasted my time and money.
Me I want the series to go on, RTWII would be good. With people like Jack Lusted on board, I could even enjoy a RTWII with the vanilla skin packs(judging from his and CA's work so far on NTW's skins, that is).
