v3.5.2 is available in the downloads thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=179715

This version is mostly brought to you by Carados, for which I thank him. My contributions were some balancing and a few bugfixes. Oh, and I finally got Bactria unstuck! I was forgetting a basic tenet of mapping: the AI will _not_ skip over a region to attack another region, even if all the incentives are in place.

Curses. Just as my Greek City Campaign were coming to the steamrolling part.

Nah, just kidding. Looking forward to see what a treath Bactria will become now...

    Great!

Question though... Why do the Romans only start with their 3.5 starting territories, Corfinium, Rhegium and Paestum and not with Ariminum and Arretium?

Because they hadn't quite finished subduing the Volsinii yet and didn't subjugate Picenum (the northern part, not the one around Ancona) till 268. Or 279. It looks like it was after Pyrrhus came over, at any rate.

Plus, I didn't want Rome to start with that many territories.

And what better way to prevent the Etruscans from joining Pyrrhus than by clobbering heads??

Which leads to the odd situation whereby if you take Anatolia up to Ancyra, but leave Iconium to Pontus, the Ptolemies won't attack you even though the way is clear from Tarsus to Ancyra, because there's a tongue of Pontic land separating Ancyra from Tarsus. However, if you take Nicomedia, but leave Heracleia, Sinope, Ancyra, etc. to their original owners, whoever holds that city east of Sinope will ignore all the cities along the way and attack Nicomedia, because there's a tiny bit joining the provinces of Nicomedia and that other city.
