OK guys I know that some faction isn't as fun to play as as others, but that doesn't mean that you can just ignore/skip playing as them because of that.

We as a team really needs to cross of each faction from our long list of things that's need's to be done. That means that we want a 100% of your play time to be focused on the faction we choose.

I posted that we would like you to focus on Carthage weeks ago and still I haven't seen ANY large empire.
So please start a Carthaginian campaign and stick with it until you got a huge empire. (huge=the largest empire at least.)

I myself is going to start one now focusing on the economic, music and how aggressive that strat ai is (desc_victory_conditions).

    HI apple.
Should we have teams to work on each faction?
I have found a few things over the past weeks on Sparta alone. That has been fixed.
Would do you think? And how many here test this?
That way we can have a few eyes on each faction to finish this.

Dev members can test the things they think are relevant but we need all beta testers to test one faction at a time to iron out all bugs for each faction. That's why we ordered them to test Carthage weeks ago. To iron out all the bugs for that culture so that we could move on to the next. That way we know that on part of the game is complete and full working.

exactly how do you grow large empires while updating the folder that might or might not be save compatible?

Is it possible to clarify which of the Carthage campaigns the beta testers should play?

Using the launcher there are a 0-turn, 1-turn and play-Carthage option. My understanding is that the 'play-Carthage' is a challenging version of the 0-turn option.

So, are we looking at the standard 0-turn or the special 'play-Carthage' option?

I usually play 1-turn recruitment so that's the option that I would like to use. Does that version work and if not is there anything I can do to get it to work?

    @Brusilov,
If you remember a few weeks ago I uploaded one turn versions of each of the EDUs, which you can swap in. You'll find one of these inside the play_carthage folder. Rename the existing export_descr_units.txt to something like export_descr_units_0turn.txt and rename the one turn version to export_descr_units.txt.

I need to check with Alavaria though - is the time ready to be checking the play_test campaign with its reworked economy as maybe that's what is really needing testing at the moment?

OK, so I do that in the Play_Carthage folder and then use the Play Carthage faction from the launcher?

If I wanted to do a 1-turn recruitment game do I just make the change in the main data folder (I know there is a export_descr_units_1_turn.txt in there) and then use the 1-turn recruitment option from the launcher?

    I like things spelt out.....

    It's not *sigh*
I have the last 4 temples (growth) to do, and have to recode the "products" back to a version of DVK's original. If barbrians don't get 5 tiers of temple, that's another headache to worry about.

Er, and I want to change all the "income" buildings to cost significantly more to build (but for proportional bonus) - which will take a while and change the long-run dynamics of a campaign.

    Yes you do....

but if you want the default campaign (not mod foldered) as 1 turn, you just the 1 turn selection in the launcher as it has its own seperate folder.
