em, think CTW is meant to look like MTW, as its a Medieval mod for RTW.Originally Posted by ToonTotalWar

lol, our work here is done
Hey Militiaman, did you use the highest setting on the grass that you could use? I think that's why it looks like MTW (not a bad thing).
I turn the grass on mine off coz my system can only handle low quality grass and with that you only see a small patch of it where you're focused so it looks worse to me. I played an MP battle on that map, it didn't go quite as expected but it was still a nice game. I'll be making some revisions so it's a little more balanced.

Nice Adherbal like always the work you show is good. Just wondering if you can show us (mostly me) the
knights of Santiago if you have any work on them ???
Are those Temps using the lance-hold animation you guys made?
@deadcell: I'm not sure if Knights of Santiago should be early or high era. They certainly haven't been made yet.
@Renly: yes

Want to play it...now!
You're doing a great job bringin MTW back to live. I still think it is in a way more fun than rome...and now CTW with those skins and this graphic...I want to play.
Ruhe in Frieden, Calvin.
Especially the Knight Templars impress me a lot. Very good work! Looking forward for more screenshots.

Well depends when your mod starts. I think your mod starts arounf 1170 right ??? So yeah they have been active
since 1164 with the 13 original memebers of the order. By July 3rd 1175 Pope Alexander II approved of the order
of the Knights of Santiago.
That would be part of our early period, so yes we could include the next release. It's really up to Adherbal, but I see no reason why they couldn't.

Ah you've gotten rid of the generally flat Rome: Total War battlefields. Excellent.
A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side.
The native army was not 'quite weak' at all. I'm quite sure adherbal hasn't made it that way though, since the unit instruction came from me.Originally Posted by Kor Khan
What I meant by "quite weak" was few in number. I mean the local Byzantine troops are actually very strong when they're available (for example Kataphraktoi and Klibanophoroi are by far the strongest cavalry in the early era), it's just that the Byzantines could afford them less and less after Manzikert, so they had to hire foreign mercenaries to be able to fight off their numerous enemies.
Is this correct?
This mod really looks promising, can't wait to try it out.
Cool! Looks like a new game! Will the mod be out soon? drool...
