has any of you finished the campaign (long preferably) as Lithuania in VH/VH.. i find that this faction is harder than any america's campaign. Especially being the only pagan in the baltic. And please.. don't even recommend me to convert to catholic. I wanted to play simply because i want to change history

my latest gameplay : i managed to conquer all the northern part of teutonic order, and leave them with only their western regions (i cannot spell the regions..it's too hard), i thought it will be smooth. But i guess i was wrong.
1)Poland attacked me with 2 full stack of HA + Knights,
2)The Mongols declare war to the Novgorod, (I then chose Novgorod as my ally instead of Mongols),
3)And in the next 3 turns, Novgorod betrayed me by blocking Riga,
4)Mongols attacked my eastern border and make peace with Novgorod

..Now WTF....the only faction left are the danes and HRE, but they are allied with Poland.
5)AND NO I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE DIEVAS.........

well....im glad i can write here and probably ask some advice or a mini guide to Lithuania veterans. Then, I'll restart my campaign.any help appriciated

It will reduce the pressure from Poland and TO... a little, and it can give you some time to destroy or weaken either the Mongols or Novgorod. You are going to have to focus on one only though, and only defend against the other. As both of them at the same time will consume too much time and that will probably bring down the other Catholic factions on you again.
Try to ally with a faction that isn't at war with you and get them to help you somehow, offer up a settlement if you have to.

noooooooooooo..... i won't give up my false god..... hahahahaha....there's no fun in that..

i'm stuck without any ally...somehow now the danes are allied with TO, and HRE with Poland.Making a temporary peace in the western part of the map. Mongols allied with Poland and Novgorod betrayed me (again after i offer them a settlement for a peace)...

requires catholism to carry gunpowder. sorry it's in the fine print.

only catholics can carry gunpowder or people who have conquerored the chiniese or people who are russian comunists.

i requires the pope's permission to carry guns as lithuania. *sigh* i guess this is really a hard campaign. Teutonic Order can be pawned easily with horse archers, and guerrilla tactics but fighting and army of polish nobles and mongols horse archers in the south (they are allied...cursed them) and boyar sons in the north really wares me out.

i guess i'll give up this campaign for a while....

I had the same problem. Until I converted to catholism. That makes the campaign a whole lot easier.

You should ask Yuri Orlov to smuggle u some guns
