Transferring fort files from another mod

Hey guys, there is something that's always been on my mind. I'm not sure if you've play the SPQR mod for RTW but it has a pretty neat Roman fort, and an even better one for Carthage and other civs. It has always bothered me that forts on vanilla and some mods aren't very realistic because they're so small and with a lack of defenses so I was wondering if I could transfer the fort files from SPQR to my favorite mod which is Roma Surrectum.

As you can see, it has defenses such as hills and ditches and not just the watchtowers. I couldn't get a pic of the Carthaginian fort but it's been better with stone walls and such. Not sure how historically accurate that is but I'm mostly concern with the Roman fort.

I would think it would be as easy and copy/paste files with the Roman fort names. I did a quick search on my hard drive and it found several files:



Can I just simply copy/paste the SPQR fort files to the Roma Surrectum respective folders? And if so, which ones? Thanks.

Ok, sorry about that. It worked, I just copy/paste the files. Just wanted some reassurence that it would work.

You need a number of things.

First you need the fort txt doc

Then you need all the models that make up that txt doc.

easiest way to do this is go to data/settlements_plans find the fort file you want, open it, and see what CAS files they have coded into it.
