If i well remember, the modder awards includes many categories for each version of total war game, subcategories who goes from location to historical era etc. etc. and personal awards are set in a way too generic.
my point of view:
1) we should add the "best mini-mod" award:
Actually, usually the people who votes in the polls for mod awards remember more easily the biggest mods they play and team who made them (as a sort of some kind of fan-boyism). And this is can be frustrating for modders who releases great mini mods to community, modders who chose to stay indipendent... but they have not the fame (involuntary for external reasons) or visibility of great mods
2) we should add the "best indipendent modder" award:
As i reported before, not all the modders works for great modifications around TWC. Some of them chose to stay indipendent for their personal reason i dont want to investigate, but they should have anyway the possibility to see their work "reconignized and awarded" by community, in the same way of modders of great modifications (people which are more remembered by the masses because of the "fame" of their mods).
3) we should add the "best indipendent texturer" award:
for the reasons explained on point 2
