Bugged Cumans.

I have installed the patch .02 which ruined the game for my favourite faction - cumans. I can't recruit cumans unit in any of cumans provinces, but I can recruit pashtun swodsmen and kabul axemen in Azaq...



BTW in unpatched BC (2.0) I couldn't cross the year of 1233 (playing as Cumans). Every time the game crushed.

I hope you will help me with it as I love to play BC Thanks for your current effort and I hope for futher versions of BC which would include even more fantastic gameplay.

Recruitment problems are caused by not deleting the map.rwm file after installing BC 2.02. Just find the file, delete it and restart campaign.

If you have Vista, this is a known issue - you just need to go in the borken crescent folder and delete the map.rwm file. Then it will work fine.

Thanks for quick respond. And you had right - deleting map.rwm did helped. (despite I have xp, not vista).

Since I have started a thread about cumans, I would like to ask for one more issue. I found that kypchak medium lancers (two units of that type are in the stack near crimean penisula) are not available for recruitment. Is it a mistake or by purpose?

Just for information: map.rwm-related issues aren't vista-specific.

Regarding lancers, they are a remnants of BC 1.05. I don't think they should be recruit-able. Just keep playing.

there seems to be a bug around 1220, 1233, 1240 that generates CTDs. After deleteing many scripts it still happens, so its not from the scripts, its too late to be a description file, I killed the king so its not a king problem...wudang_clown suggested that it could be a name from the arabic list that gets his birth on the map around that time.
