    Default Syracuse's Walls

My word! I was playing a battle for my AAR, expecting it to be a hard-fought victory. It was the Siege of Syracuse...

And the towers were shooting rocks at me! They annihilated 3 of my four siege towers, killed more than half of my men, among them my general. I had to replay the battle, since my hero dying so soon in the AAR really wouldn't do

Anyway, I haven't besieged any other cities with stone walls and fought the battle on the battle map. Is it like that on every city? I saw some kind of building in Syracuse which appears to give Syracusae better walls.

Seriously tho, Im not aware of any special abilities of the "Stone Walls", perhaps the coders can shed some light on this!

hahaha, well that would be awesome if they implemented that in. Archimedes made it cost dearly to the romans with his gadgets..

I think "very hard" indeed is the correct way to describe it...
    With the following bonuses:

    • wall_level 3
    • tower_level 3
    • gate_defences 2
    • gate_strength 2

Oh, God no! Everything but the ranged missles is fine by me, but if I had to go through that every time I had to capture a town...

I suppose you need to make capturing the place a challenge somehow Did you add a similar one to Carthage? I heard their walls were very secure

    Hm...

Would it be possible to make different wall values for the different campaign difficulties?
