Strat Map problem

Hi I've been trying to add a faction onto the strat map for a mod for BI which normally works fine, but this time something dodgey keeps happening which has happened before on a different mod and I can't remember how it was solved. The strat map loads with the added/moved faction but it is alone with only the rebels/slaves and when an area which should house anything belonging to another faction that should be there becomes visible a settlement, army or something of the like instant CTD. Thought it had something to do with trying to add an emergent faction but I cant find anything to suggest that the faction of used to add was coded to be emergent. Seems to be a pretty generic problem i keep coming across every now and again, just wandering if there was a well documented fix. cheers.

Definately dosen't seem to be a problem with the name files everything seems to be in order, and it gives no error message either, completely beaten by this one.
