The 1st Punic War (264 - 241 BC) has yet to happen let alone the 2nd Punic War (218 - 201 BC - where Hannibal makes his entrance).

No, there won't be a family member called "Hannibal".

But yes the time-frame of this mod is set so it covers all three Punic Wars. However, since the game is open ended, it is totally up to you if those wars ever happen.

Something that does happen for sure though is a struggle for Sicily between various factions and as Rome you will have to fight of Pyrrhos' invasion force
