Default 6.2, some question and thoughts

Ok, I finished my Moors campaign and was quiet happy with the progress 6.2 made, a question though.

1.What is the building req for Great Universities and advanced libraries? why can I only build it in a couple of places and not other well developed places?

    2. the Geographic location of some of those cities appears questionable. Sevelli was a lot closer to the sea than the map made it look, in fact the Spanish new world fleet almost all sailed from it. so it should at the very least have a river port option or something.

I know that settlement limitation is a huge problem, but it would have made more sense if we add one more cities to Northern Italy (Florence obviously, it was in before but both it and Pisa deserve to be in .)
1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....

Default Re: 6.2, some question and thoughts

I think you're talking about RR/RC compilation and not the official 6.2, because in 6.2 there's still Florence instead of Pisa. I too prefer Florence over Pisa, but unless we can have both the "correct" solution probably is to have Pisa in the Early Era Campaign and Florence in the Late Era, mainly because:

    - Genoa and Pisa were really allied till the First Crusade (when the early campaign starts), after that the former started to overshadow the latter
    - after 1284, Battle of Meloria, Pisa was crushed by Genoa and completely lost any relevance (Genoese even destroyed Porto Pisano)
    - As part of Visconti's dominions after 1399, Pisa was then sold to the Florence in 1402

    - the Florentine Republic was founded in 1115 (few years after the early campaign starts), but quickly grew in the 12th century

P.S The faction should really remain 'Republic of Genoa' imo, and not Republics of 'Genoa and Pisa'

    To answer your other questions:

    1. You can build them only in historically correct places (e.g. the very first University was founded in Bologna)

    2. you're right, but I'm not the one who can reply to this
