    Default Massalia

First off, great mod guys, hats off to you

Now, looked at the Massalia campaign and not sure which direction to go; Gaul, Iberia, Carthage or Rome.

What do you peeps think is the best direction for expansion, being a total noob I can't say I see the light in this one

    My strategy is the following:

Take Corsica, then Sardinia and the Balearen. Then you have the choice. Head into Gaul or take Emporion. However, taking Emporion means that you'll soon be in a 2 front war against Iberia and Gaul.

I tried this one, and i had a multi-front war with Romans,Carthagenians +the usual suspects: Iberians and Gauls.

My strategy is the following: (i can post some screenshots if you want)

    1) forget the islands and destroy the fleet (saves some cash from income)
    2) take Emprion , develop these 2 Cities to support a descent army
    3) Take Iberian cities starting from the one below Emporion and go clockwise.
( Dont forget to destroy temples and barracks, but not the auxiliary ones, you will need them)
4)last city to take in Iberian peninsula must be Numantia (before you turn against Carthage)
I find that is better to move your capital to Numantia
5)Colonization: you build all available lvls of temples, then odeon, then
    colonize (turn to seasonal )
During that time you have to rely mostly on aux units, which in this case are not bad at all
    6)Now it's Carthage's turn

Hmmm, I might have to try that strategy, Athi. Thanks.
TM, wouldn't that strategy cause Rome to attack you?

Afraid of the Roman fleet are you? Ha, should they try to attack you, something which I have not experienced in any of my Massilia campaigns so far, simply destroy their fleet before they can land troops on Corsica.
