    Default Remembrance Sunday

Hey Guys, In Britain on the Sunday before the 11th of November we celebrate those who have laid down their lives for us. In the words of John 15:13,

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them. "

I took part in a parade in Glasgow today (as it is the nearest sunday) as part of Rememberance Day, marching behind a pipe band is great!

I've been researching my family history recently, and this rememberance day is particularly poignant for me because I've found out about a relative who sadly died in The Somme, after surviving Gallipoli.

Unfortunately his case is not uncommon.
