shortcut to exe?

hi, hoping for a little help; i've run installation validation and couldn't get it to run through, and i've tried putting the files in my user account folder.

but still no matter what i do (reinstall, fresh, redownload, reinstall, ect..) i can't get EB to load properly. i've been playing EB for months and gotten it to work on multiple platforms, but i still keep getting the origional rometw loading. also, instead of single player ect. under the start menu it just play, run Europa Barborum, and run Europa Barborum troubleshoot (which doesn't seem to do anything).

it might just be a problem with startin properties or whatever else under properties. could anyone tell me what the two fields should read under prop? having the rome folder under my account settings that is..

any help would be much appreciated

Right click on the EB desktop shortcut (or copy the RTW shortcut if you don't have one then right click on it) and choose "Properties". Under the "Target" line add " -mod:eb" to the end of the line.
