    Default A quite big idea...

    Because in RTRPE Macedonia is realy uncontrollable due their northern expansions, I was thinking on a way to not only make them conquerring like it shoud be, but also other factions...

    My idea is simple:

    Make the factions conquer historically responsible.

    If there is a way to make e.g. Carthage friendly towards the Gauls and vice versa, Carthage and the Gauls will not expand throught their lands, making it historically correct.
    If you can do that, Macedonia will 'only' conquer all the Thracian,Illyrian, Greek, Seleucid, pontic, Ptolemaic, Armenian, Parthian and Bactrian cities.
    While Gaul would only conquer Germanian, Roman and Iberian cities.

    I get realy frustrated if I see that Macedonia is in war with Germania or By seeing Iberia going in war with Illyria (not that the last one happened)...
    If I see something like the above situations, I think like

    Can this be made reality, or is it impossible?

    NOTE: I do know quite mutch of history, but not realy mutch...
    But I think the historians in this forum are smart enough to say which factions were friendly towards each other

    ExRM changes quite a lot of factors to encourage some historical expansion, and Quinn Inuit is still working on that. There's no way of guaranteeing, but Quinn's methodology involves changing the map, unit stats, costs, and virtually all other gameplay factors. It's not easy in other words, but if you head over to the ExRM forum, you'll see the work in progress.

    What you are asking for is perhaps the holy grail of RTW modding, a way of making the AI behave in an historically sensible fashion (note: i said sensible, not accurate ^^).

    As far as I can see, there is no real effective way of doing this, many modders have tried various combinations of ideas, with mixed results. The limitation of the game engine is what constrains us all.

    BTW I have uploaded my Macedonia fix onto a previous thread I made, you can try it and it should help a little.
