    Default wierd bug...

you know that battle carthage starts out with against that large band of rebels led by Hiceto (spelling...)? well evdiently, after fighting this battle and suffering about 504 casualties while killing 1054 rebels along with Hiceto, the game tells me that i failed to beat him at some...river...place...however...didnt i just win. if there is more to the game script and there is another battle im supposed to go to immediately, the mod isnt doing a good job alerting me of this...

Hello Teutonic Joe. Can you please report this in the bug thread? Plz?
If you have a save-game please upload it.

Of course, anybody else who experiences this bug please report it as well. We'd like to have confirmation of bugs.

Well this is not The Iberian Conflict, which had a fixed timeline you had to keep up with. In FoE, the opening battles just set the stage. It's an open-ended campaign beyond that. So if you won, you should be told as much. Actually it should say the defeat of Hiketas (your opponent) was decisive.

alright then. well i have played through the start twice so far and wiped out his army twice (i assume such since i dont see any remnants walking away). about 15 or so turns later it informs me that i was not able to beat him....also in each battle i have killed him
