Crash

Hello,

2 months ago, Third Age worked properly. Then, I've tried to install a sub-mod but it didn't work. So I've reinstall Third Age.

Now Third Age don't work, it crashes at start up (I can see the first screen during 3 seconds and it crashes)

Please help me !!!

Try deleting all folders referring to TA and then run a registry clean, before you reinstall TA:TW. Some files may remain after uninstalling, which may cause the problem.
If your log says nothing and the crash still occurs, the easiest (and longest) solution is to reinstall M2:TW and TA:TW also.

I have exactly this problem, I installed the game overnight, and downloaded them in the order of:

Patch 1.3
Part 1 and 2
Patch 1.1
Patch 2.2

Yes I know it's weird to install them in that order, but I thought I only needed the 1.3 to play (silly me).

Anyways, down to business, As soon as I start the game up, it opens up a black window (as if you were to normally start up) and then crashes, I checked my Medieval 2: Total War\Logs, but there was no System.log.txt.

I played it at 3AM last night before I went to bed (was so excited, don't ask lol) and I had the game (part 1 and 2) and patch 1.3 downloaded, it worked fine.

Came home from school today, all hyped up and ready to give this mod a go, didn't work and I am actually dissapointed, was REALLY looking forward to it.

Help appreciated alot, as fast as possible too.

Forget the above post guys, I got a sub mod to make cavalry more affective and that was stopping it, when I went through the log that is what it detected.

Thanks for the help, now I think I'm going to enjoy this mod! : )
