French Moustaches and Blonde Swedes

Will CA make units seem more regionally? I don't say all units (from a regiment ), because not all people had the same look, but will there be added a national flavour in the textures?

And no beards for every second unit as well, please

Well CA have said they have a face genorator this time which creates 64 random faces for every units face. So there is going to be 64 different heads, theres also a rumour that CA are trying to create units with different heights to add realism.

Well lets hope this sudden interest in realism extends to the uniforms they put on these realistic bodies and faces then.

The "64 heads" thing though, the number of heads was not "per unit type" it was "in total".

As for blonde Swedes and French Moustaches, I heard somewhere that 2/3 of Swedes have brown hair and under half of the French population wear moustaches!

64 faces for 320 units? Hope not!...

Is that statistic for now or 1800? Anyway, I already telled: I don't say all units because not all people had the same look. But atm in ETW I don't see any national look of the units.

We will see a napoleon totalwar with antihistorical units types,few units for faction,football teams units,a horrible and stupid AI,a horrible diplomacy, a boring, empty campaign and without events etc,the same thing of always.

So Its undeniable, irrefutable, impossible to ignore. CA are racist against Blonde people, they completely ignored them in Empire they wiped the poor albinos from European history, not only did they ignore them, but they spat on them, not one. not one of the millions of men I have commended during my playing of ETW was even remotely blonde, maybe the odd brunette with mousy hair, but no blondes. Sweden, Germany, Austria, Britain!!, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Denmark, Norway, Lithuania.

Now I have absolutely no problem with blonde people, I think they deserve just as much representation as every other minority in the world, they might be intellectually challenged in some fields but I think that they deserve their say in this game, this game that just might be CA's best game yet, the game that should have been released last year, the game that should have had better AI, the game that should not have had so many glitches, the game that should have had blonde people in it.




No one cares about gingers so we are fine with them being left out.

I wanted more diversity in the unit ranks, too. Hope CA will make NTW units with more faces and skins, like in M2TW

Just to clear something out.... Not all swedes have blonde hair. I'm swedish and I can tell you first hand that not all of us are blonde as some seem to think -.- Take my old class for example, we were 32 in total, out of 17 guys, three had blond hair, all others brown, most girls had blonde hair, but some of them dyed it so much so you could never tell what real haircolor they had. The majority of swedes have brown hair in various shades, but still, compared to many other countries we do have a high percentage of blonde people, so it would be nice to atleast have some blonde dudes in a unit.

There are actually a couple of fairer heads in the ETW generic light infantry unit and I think the Prussian jägers.

But definitely: NTW needs moustachioed continental veterans, clean-shaven Brits, a helluva lot fewer beards and more hair colour variation - it'll be more noticeable in NTW due to those grotesque mutton-chop sideburns they were all sporting in those days.

Does this mean we will see fat and thin unit models. It would be just like watching a reenactment. Especially with the fat people.

That's true! I've never understood why such a disproportionately high percentage of re-enactors are overweight, you'd think the action aspect of it would promote a healthier lifestyle.

I recently visited a Danish Iron Age village park, and the re-enactors were almost all overweight (and in general Danes are on the slimmer end of the European obesity scale).
