The problem is the major mods.... if you use DM you want a modded startpos for DM, if you use APE ....
So there are many startpos but none containing basic changes from all of them (and for major mods as DM, APE,...)

Oh ! I see. I don't use any of the major mods. I Just use the AUM mod, which is strictly a units mod.

I have the same problem. Isabellaxxx your Startpos link is no longer working. A message comes up on the page saying the file is no longer there. I keep getting this message: " The file link that you requested is not valid." on the 4shared website.

I think the correct Karl XII was there before I installed the new Darthmod one.

It's not necessary, but you will not see French king for ex. with his own portrait, he will have a random period portrait.

The easiest way is using the startpos which is at the top and add the Ottoman changes:

• Safavids, Mughals and Crimean Khanate are playable now on grand campaign map without fog bug and with purposes
• Some soldiers are changed on campaign map and Ottoman Empire has more powerful soldiers on Balkan at the beginning from now on.
• Ratio of religion for some cities are changed and corrected

I am also using an altered Startpos. Im curently runing "period portraits 4,0" without the startpos, could you by anny chance put Karls photo in the packfile?

I don't understand you.
Do you use your own startpos? Has it assigned the portraits?
Period Portraits already has Karl XII portrait (and with the new startpos it is shown properly).
