Default A questions before this MOD release

Hello, I have a question about installing this MOD(RTRVII: Fate of Empires), could anyone answer my question, thanks.

Do I need to install this MOD in the RTW folder directly?
I want to use the JSGME tool to install the game and sometimes play other MODs.

That excellent mod is also mod-foldered and works in the same RTW install as FOE. I know from personal experience, as I have both in the same install on my PC and have no conflicts with either.

FOE is a mod-folder design, so I am not clear as to why you wish to use JSGME. Installed into the Rome - Total War directory all of FOE's files will be inserted inside a new folder that will be created, named FOE, resulting in no amendments being made to the vanilla files. Therefore, the vanilla RTW and any other correctly designed and installed mod-foldered modification of the game can be played independantly, via their own Desktop icons.

If you install FOE into a copy of RTW that has a non mod-foldered modification already installed, then it is not likely to work. KSGME may very well work, if you know what you are doing, but we have not tested its use and can, therefore, offer no guarantees or support in its use.

Some MODs,such as RS will destroy the original RTW(also, it can use the JSGME), so I always try to use the JSGME to install MODs. Thanks for your message.

The only problem could be that you'll see a wrong introduction video. Other than that FoE is compatible with all mod-foldered mods
