Let's try this again: Regicide Payback
I asked this a few months back but didn't get much of a response... so, I'll give it another go:
Hi.
I am having a problem. I was looking at this tutorial: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=81256&highlight=assassinate+faction+leader and trying to figure out how to fix the "regicide" mission so that success gives a major boost to your faction standing toward the target faction (and likewise, failure a penalty). But, I can't seem to get my head around it.
All, I need to do is add the appropriate entries (corresponding to the null_paybacks in the desc. mission file) to the desc. faction standing file....
But I don't know how to do it, have no way of testing it, and am afraid of breaking something.
I hear some mods have fixed this. Can anyone provide me with simple instructions how to do the same?

The desc_missions text is:
payback_list faction_regicide_payback
{
reward
{
null_payback FACTION_STANDING_REWARD ;TBD add standing increase via export_descr_faction_standing.txt
money 10000
}
penalty
{
null_payback FACTION_STANDING_PENALTY ;TBD add standing decrease via export_descr_faction_standing.txt
}
}
(as you can see, it was never finished!)
All I need is to understand how to format the corresponding desc. faction standing entries...

PS: I *think* the answer should look something like this:
Trigger 0138_Sucess_Regicide_Mission
WhenToTest LeaderMissionSuccess
Condition PaybackID faction_regicide_payback
FactionStanding target_faction 1.0
... but I have a lot of questions. How do I determine the name/number, to start with? (can I just make it up? since this mission already has text, is it something I can look up somewhere?)

So, this didn't work. It didn't crash, but it didn't change the diplomatic standing of the factions involved. Can no one help me with this?
