Blu-Ray's already obsolete. Thanks to the HVD.
As is literalist interpretations of revealed religions. By which I assume you mean the Abrahamic trio.

But organised religion in general won't go obsolete. There's no reason for it to; it's still a very relevant cultural and social concept. And as long as people live in communities, it'll pretty much always be relevant in some manner or another.

Organised "literal translation" religion is hardly modern. That leads me to believe that the Blue-ray will become obsolete first.

Literalists have been obsolete for a few hundred years. But them actually being literalists makes them oblivious to that.
