Night battles...

I readed some things about 'night battles', but how do they occur on the campaign map?

You need a general with the night fighter trait iirc. In case you have two armies joining the battle, both need to have the trait or the reinforcements won`t join the battle(presuming only the attacking/defending general has it).

And what kind of bonusses are there in night?

Hi Matrix,

I think your FMs can pick up the trait once they've got at least 3 command stars, or at least that's how my generals got the trait. I don't really know what bonuses are available though. I've only fought one night battle, and it was a bridge defence, so I don't think I would have got any of the bonuses as I was defending. That said I truly whipped the enemy
