The European factions in the Warpath expansion

Hi, I think the warpath expansion looks great, but I have a question regarding the European nations.

I've seen youtube clips from the game menu, and I see the logos of the five new indian factions.
Is it possible to play as any of the European nations if you manage to annihilate them?

If this is not the case, does anyone know if they can be "unlocked" in any way?

I don't own Warpath, but from what I've heared, you can only play as the 5 Native nations.

You can unlock factions by modding the startpos.esf in Steamaaps/common/empiretotalwar/data/campaings/natives with ESFEditor:

I find it highly suspicious that CA releases the Native Americans as playable factions AFTER I played as the Plains Indians using the APE:TI mod, posted my experiences, and received a lot of replies that people were interested in that as a campaign.....

Maybe if CA sends me a free copy of Warpath, I will tell my attorneys to drop the suit.

I will probably end up getting it anyway, as using the mod to play those factions was fun. It sounds like its similar to the Road to Independance, in that it allows you to play a faction that you cannot play in vanilla ETW.

in warpath you can play (without modding) only the Indian Factions

the above link has a mod that allows you to play the Euro factions in Warpath. Mod 1.1 will be the one you are looking for.

you can already play the european factions in grand campaign, i really see no point to modding warpath to play as europeans
