can't run ? :(

hey, im tryin to launch campaign using this mod, but whenever i click new campaign, it says "Please Select item from list" and im still at the screen where it says campaign custom battle and historical battle help is appreciated

i figured out how to get passed that, but now i click empire i want to be, it goes to loading screen, then crashed halfway through

That message normally means you have installed RTRPE over a game version that is older than the one it was made for. Probably you have RTW v1.3/BI v1.4 instead of the required RTW v1.5/BI v1.6. It`s relatively easy to check by going to the Options menu and looking at the version noted on the top right corner.

ok so double post,

found something about the .RWM file.... deleted it, but it keeps coming back.... am very, very confused

C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\data\world\maps\base the file is in here. am very very tempted to jack it all in

The map.rwm is supposed to come back. The game regenerates it everytime it starts if it`s not present. The only reason you delete it the first time(before starting rtrpe) is so that it can get regenerated based on the new info brought on by the mod.
How do you know your rtw is v1.5? Have you checked?
