    Default CD code question

I just found the old CD code I got when I first bought Rome Total War(tm) and I tried putting it in with - and in capitols, without capitols and without -, but it still says the CD is invalid, I know its the right code because it has worked before and I had it written down in crayon in my old manual (lol I could not find a pencil), I am a bit mad because I was hoping to play this game while I was getting the money together for Empire: Total War, could someone please help?

Hmmm are you sure you didn't get 0 and O mixed up?

There's no o's or 0's, , thx anyways . Also, I installed an all-factions mod (love playing the little guys) and was wondering if that could get in the way (that was a while ago so i don't know if it's still on there)

Nah regardless of mod, you should always be able to get on the lobby even if people aren't playing mods. But maybe you might need a new cd-key.

Isn't that kind of like... I don't know, wrong or something? I mean I bought the game twice (lol the first set of CDs was really scratched), but I guess you gotta play the cards you're dealt, lol. Anyways, thx m8.

    Got it working

in my honest opinion you paid for the game, and are legally entitled to have the error fixed, have it replaced with a working copy or to receive your funds back in some way.
    so in other words:
Whine to sega for a new CD key,
    Download a crack exe,
Or ask Sega to send you a new game entirely...

I'm sure the moddies wont like seeing the second thing brought up, but if the other two options fail, you have ample ethical rights to do so.
