Steam launch problem

I installed the mod into the correct folder and everything and added the necessary things in the "set launch options" yet when i Launch Invasio Barbarorvm: runia romae it launches and i get to the load nvasio Barbarorvm: flagellvm dei screen and then the game just go back to the desktop. What am i doing wrong?

Have you added -show_err?
I havn't played Ib for a while, so please excuse my ignorance, but you may want to try launching it through BI.

Well I did the -show_err thing, and some other thing that I don't remember that I found here on the forum, but that didn't work either, and when I double click the IB icon on my desktop it just says "Failed to find Steam". If I launch it through steam i get the IB screen, then it goes black, and sends me back to the desktop without any error message or anything.

BTW the mod I downloaded was INVASIO BARBORUM: RUINA ROMAE. If that clarifies things.
