Horse archers

Horse archers are very cost effective unit and are exellent draining troops but i have a problem understanding why they should count as cav in cwb. In TWPL they count as both cav and archers and that makes much more sence to me. But i can understand why some people could see this as unfair to have one unit to count as two things. But why the

letting the horse archers count as cavalry????? It makes no sence to me. You gatto ask ureself the question. What is the main use of horse archers. Yes it is to kill from a distance with a bow and arrow, not melee combat, and well then it makes me much more sence to let em count as archers and not as cav.

If you count them as archers, your opponent could get 4 archers, and 2 ha, which can devastate your archers force (unless you too get ha), then they could have around 8 melee cav, so after they are done with the missle duel, they could use their 8 cav with the 2 ha against your 8 melee cav, so would that really be fair?

yes ofcourse. I would say its much worse facing 8 archers and 2 horse archers and a bunch of cav. since archers are so bloody cheap. cav is not.

ed up enough without people constantly changing it. don't do it.

Simply because cwb rules have been useless since they were made and tbh i think they were mainly made for 3 vs 3 as that was where the bigggest points would lie anyways.

generals bodyguard count as cav in cwb right?

Agree withe top post though personally I think that there should be a cap on heavy cav and light cav and that horse archers are both light cav and archer.
