oké here is my problem and hope that you couls given me a answer how to start the game without any CTD.
I have install everything for 6 times and keep the repeatable CTD for 6 times.
everything is installed clean org. and the 1.2 / 1.3 TWM2 and nothing more.
and deleted the map.rwm in BC off Vista
But i have seen a lot off error reports of the same CTD's in different times off the years
And didn't read any report about how to fix it.
So i was thinking we have always a no and we could get a yes only the question is when.
If, if there is someone who could help me with this errror, would make me happy, and some more people i think.
So thank you for reading this and hope that you would find the problem.
and is there someone who could tell me where i could find the error side of CTD in the years like 1100 until 1219 like that i did read it some where but i didn't find that side back.

I get similar "unspecified error" CTDs.

Playing as KoJ, year ~1210, have experienced CTDs 4 times so far. The funny thing is the save game also gets corrupted, so I loaded up old saves and saved regularly in different files. Now all the new saves are corrupted.

Windows XP SP2
BC 2.02 on M2TW 1.03

EDIT: Did some browsing of the forum, seems my problem is "Crusader siege of Constantinople" related

Yeah, there's no fix for that, yet. You have to wait for next patch. Sorry.

does this CTD occur always for all factions?
is it an event that happens when one asks for support from the pope or is it a historical event that occurs no matter what?

asking to see if there is a way to at least avoid this game breaker. is there?

It's very frequent to get CTD (and corrupted saves) when there are some scripted events triggered, like sieges during crusades and Mongol invasion. You can remove those scripted sieges from campaign_script.txt and I think it will considerably reduce the possibility of having a CTD.

Other than that there can be some hidden CTDs which are not marked in the log.

thanks for the quick reply and the script tip! however i am a bit sad to hear of those CTD. i played without any so far and had a blast. the curusader decided to go to constantinople though and i guess my game will soon be over or CTD ridden.
hope you guys will be aple to route out those CTDs coz the mod is really good
