    Default Numidia CTD. HELP!

Ok so Im playing as numidia and have secured western africa excepting tingi. Carthage blindsided (ok i expected it but they didnt even bother to break our alliance) Capsa and took her. I then counterattacked her three armies in the area and won three heroic victories. I then reclaimed Capsa -- and then suffered a CTD. Not only that but it hadnt saved any of my previous victories. So in a rage I crushed the three Carthaginian armies -- again, and took Capsa -- again, and discovered that my taking capsa indefinitely triggers a CTD. Any ideas? Did the RTR team forget to put a town square in Capsa or what?
Of these facts there cannot be any shadow of doubt: for instance, that civil society was renovated in every part by Christian institutions; that in the strength of that renewal the human race was lifted up to better things-nay, that it was brought back from death to life, and to so excellent a life that nothing more perfect had been known before, or will come to be known in the ages that have yet to be. - Pope Leo XIII

I`m guessing the part you omit from your description is that it crashes when you click the occupy, enslave, exterminate, right? And the battle you win is actually a battle where besides the garrson you also fight supporting ai armies so that the battle takes place not on the tile of the settlement, but on the one in front of it where your besieging army is. The theory for this common rtw bug is that it`s a retreating bug for the sailing out garrison. Basically the only solution is to avoid fighting a battle with AI reinforcements but rather deal with the supporting armies from the outside before attacking the settlement.
