    Default Dealing With The Cathars

I am playing a High Period English campaign; currently at about turn 20 or so. The Cathars have rebelled & chased the French out of Toulouse. This was good for me, because I was able to hold off the French attacks into Aquitaine, and subsequently moved against them, taking Normandy, Bretagne, Picardy, Flanders and a couple more besides. I have watched with some amusement that the rebels in Toulouse have held off the attacks of some 3 or more factions.

It'll be my turn next - I plan on sending in four or more priests a couple years ahead of the army, and intend to destroy enough structures to throw it into negative pop. growth, and eventually rebuild when I get it under control.

It's a draft of a plan. If anyone else has suggestions how to control the Cathar heretics, I'm all ears.

Ha ha ha. Yes, I already planned to do that with the settlement, once it's taken.

And that event is where that expression comes from, too.
