Hi guys, I'm not sure what format you guys use when reporting but I thought I'd let you have some initial impressions.

I managed to downolad the Beta via SVN without any hitches, and without any breaks (which is a first - must be a good omen!)
Not being mod-foldered, setting up was a bit more fiddly than I'm used to but the instructions were clear and straightforward
At first sight the launcher was a bit daunting but I managed to figure it out without too much difficulty
Games started faultlessly - I liked the music and loading and splash screens - very well done indeed
I'd chosen to play the Selucids and found that the Imperial Campaign option didn't work, so I found my way there via the provincial campaign option
Great strat map, loved the detail an colour - thought the wave effect on the "beaches" could be a bit distracting, as it pulsed very few seconds or so and kept catching my eye
Set up the settlements for the first turn
Decided to indulge myself and fought the Battle of Raphia - some random images below
Enjoyed the battle - only issue was the gfx glitch of the Selucid General (see below)

Thanks Tony. Glad you've liked it so far. As mentioned in the unit errors thread, I think that glitch is fixed now, although the cataphract horse skins need some minor fixing now....reins and bridles.
