6.2 Mirror

I recently found this great mod, and picked it over Broken Crescent (which was a tough pick, believe me). I downloaded 6.1, only to find 6.2 is the latest version. Unfortunately, it was uploaded to Rapidshare whose utterly STUPID policies towards free user have rendered me unable to download the patch. Are there any other mirrors that the patch is uploaded to? Thanks for any help in this....

By the way, there ARE other free alternatives to Rapidshare that are better. Even Megaupload is better...another site, rarhost.com (hosts only .rars, though) is easiest to use. No checks, no deletion, no limitations to free users, and you don't even have to register to upload/download. I hope someone makes not of this in the future....meanwhile, I sound like a whiny toddler

Be aware(as many people aren't) that although people say its an "official" patch, it's not actually make by King Kong(the creator of SS).

e/e on 6.2 is vh/vh on 6.1 iirc.

Make sure you are ready for a challenge before you download 6.2.

Regarding rapidshare wait until off-peak hours(depending on where you live) and you should be able to download it.

I regard 6.1 as the most recent "official" version.

6.2 is an official version. It might not have been made by KK but it was made with his blessing.

So let me repeat, 6.2 is the latest official version of Stainless Steel.

Just don't use it if you're not up for a harder game.

I know it is an "official" version I just have weird teminology for this stuff...

Thanks for the clarification, and the warning...but is there another mirro for it? I know some of the latest submods require it.

No there isn't. The only submod that I can think of that require it is the latest RR/RC compilation but you dont need to install it separately: the RR/RC installer will do that for you.

So, if I download the RR/RC compilation, 6.2 comes with it? Okay, that makes things much easier...thanks!

By the way, what Kingdoms/Medieval 2 patch does this go with? I actually haven't started a game yet, since the mod crashes on loading a campaign.
