Ancillaries

Ok so I'm playing 6.0 and I'm loving it. It's the greatest thing I've ever played.

However, when my Egyptian general joined the Jihad, he got "Peter the Hermit" as an ancillary

Also I've counted about 5 spelling errors on them (like for the lord of Acre one it says "increas ein trade")

I was just wondering if that kind of stuff was fixed in 6.1.

Also the reason I don't have 6.1 is because Rapid Share pretty much told all free users to piss off the day I got SS.

Not sure if all of them were but there were quite a few typo fixes in 6.1.

6.1 is worth starting a new camapign btw*i tihnk you need to start new camapign).

If you're feeling brave, you can go into descr_strat and find and edit the errors manually, but always save a copy before you edit, just in case you stuff up (as I have on occasion)

Spelling errors like that aren't in desr_strat.txt. They're in SS\data\text\export_ancillaries.txt

6.1 does have spelling fixes.

And yes, I also hate rapid share

But does it also fix religiously wrong ancillaries? Like Muslims getting Peter the Hermit?

Well it doesn't actually matter that much, I'm having more fun with Total War since I installed Rome!

Changing the spelling wont. Installing 6.1 most likely would.

And if rapidshare still won't work for you just download uTorrent and install it with one of the torrent links(it will take ages as there are probabaly no seederrs but hey, it's 6.1, its worth it).
