What are the AI Bonuses?

I have been playing RTR for a few days, it appears that RTR is a lot harder than vanilla RTW. Where I can usually kick AI's butt on VH/VH, I am barely holding on to Italy as Rome in RTR on H/H.
So what bonuses do RTR bestow on the AIs? Do they get 0 turn recruitment, unlimited money, or something like that?

The ai is not moddable in rtw. The bonuses related to the difficulty levels are the same in rtr as in rtw:

Battle difficulty:
Easy: +4 morale and +4 attack to your troops.
Medium: No bonuses.
Hard: +4 morale and +4 attack to the ai troops.
Very hard: +7 morale and +7 attack to the ai troops.

Campaign difficulty: Exact effects are not known but the AI cheats on VH by getting an extra $10,000 a turn.

So RTR does not give any additional bonus to the AIs? It seems that the AIs are doing really well on H/H, much better than they ever managed on vanilla. How is this possible?

I'm not sure what RTR has running in the background. Does RTRPE have an AI money script? (The ExRM has one of these, but we got it from something else...possibly the 4 turns per year mod. It's a system where, if the AI has too little in the bank, it gets a cash infusion. Helps keep the AI from bankrupting itself into a hole from which it can't escape.)

Also, judicious map design and win conditions setup can really help the AI by keeping it from behaving stupidly. Even small changes can have a large impact.

Oh, and RTR has fewer uber-units players can use to steamroll enemies, and they're more judiciously priced.

Vanilla RTR 6 Gold/RTRPE has no script.
